New in PODIS Plus


We’re regularly adding new features to PODIS Plus to make sure it remains the most effective drug ordering, inventory management and payment verification system available.

This summer, we’re introducing the ability to track Benefits Investigation outcomes and Prior Authorizations. For each patient you can record their benefits coverage and insurance approvals securely within PODIS Plus. This valuable information is then available to be used by your practice staff in a number of ways:
 
  • See the relevant information when reviewing your upcoming patient schedule with our new Patient Precheck report
  • Receive alerts on Prior Authorizations when dispensing to a patient
  • Monitor participation in co-pay assistance programs by patient

 

Patient Precheck

Patient Precheck allows your practice to quickly precheck upcoming appointments to make sure everything is in order. For each patient, it displays pertinent information such as last product dispensed, appointment type (from your practice management system), specialty pharmacy or charity care rules, benefits investigation outcomes and prior authorizations on file.
 
This will help you to ensure benefits have been checked, authorizations secured and product is ready to go, prior to a patient’s scheduled visit.
